I was born and raised in Upstate New York, and love calling the 518 home. Music has always been a passion of mine. From a young age, I offered to sing at church any chance I got, and began leading worship at age 16. During my college years, I felt strongly that God was calling me into full time ministry, and changed my major to follow that call. In 2012 I graduated from Roberts Wesleyan University with a Bachelor's degree in Music, with a concentration in Ministry, and a minor in Biblical Studies.
I met my husband, Brandon, in 2010 and married him in 2013. We have two amazing boys and a rascally pup. In 2016 we moved to the Saratoga area and found the Saratoga Springs campus of a multi-site church. I was offered a staff position, and it was here I first felt God fine-tuning my calling. I learned a lot about how a church functions, a lot about leadership, but most importantly, a lot about the brokenness in our community. For three years, I led worship and coordinated the children's ministry, but knew this was only scratching the surface of what God was calling me to.
In 2019 we found Pine Grove Community Church, and I knew we were home. During the summer of 2020, after many conversations and encouragement from Brandon, Pastor Mark and Jody, I decided to pursue ordination and become a pastor. God's timing is always perfect. I can look back on my life and see that this is the path God always had me on, even when I wasn't aware I was walking it.
It is an incredible honor to serve God's people and to tend to His Church. I love seeing people encounter God through praise and worship, and get rooted in His word! My heart breaks for the lost and those who have walked away from church. I believe that God has brought me here to help cultivate and shape the safe, loving, welcoming community that is growing at PGCC.
